Fake! Jackseeds.com from Singapore Malaysia

They sell fake stuff and no one can be sure what you get. Looking like a regular USA company, with a with a 1-800 number..seems legit, doesn't it?

Many Chinese companies are setting up fake US addresses  and phone numbers on random address and phone number generator websites, to appear as US sellers.

Jackseeds.com is from Singapore and they sell fake stuff.

Be AWARE! - Check where your order comes from!

Also - they do a lot of free giveaways on their fakebook page, no one ever receives anything.
BUT - they have YOUR Info
since you'll be happily supplying that for the prize!

Help to get rid of Fake Chinese Seed Sellers

From ‘rainbow tomatoes’ to ‘rainbow roses’ and ‘rainbow chrysanthemums’, the horticultural Facebook forums are full of excited gardening newbies, tricked into buying these fake seeds off the back of obviously photo-shopped or faked images.

A quick check today reveals four seemingly legitimate websites selling such seeds, all four websites are registered to similar addresses in China. The seeds are ALL completely fake but appear on Google and on eBay with multiple websites to get around Google’s ‘one advertising account’ policy.

Gardeners! What you need to do today – click to waste their cash!

These companies are actually paying Google each time somebody clicks on one of their adverts or ‘Google shopping’ listings (and yes that might make you suspicious about why Google hasn’t clamped down on them…).

So here’s what you can do for the next few days:
Please conduct a Google search for ‘rainbow tomatoes’ (OR CLICK HERE) then click on each of the three companies shown in the top left corner of the Google results (those with a ridiculous photo-shopped rainbow  image.  Each time YOU click, THEY pay, and if we all click en masse regularly as a gardening community they will soon be spending a fortune selling nothing and go away – nobody wants to lose money.

Fake!!! Venus Flytrap Seeds from China

Fake Venus Flytrap Seeds. The original post comes from the flytrap website (see below.)

It takes years to create a reputable online business and then China sells fakes..in this case the seller got Baby's breath seed for Flytrap Seeds. Despicable!

Beware of listings that also show a “mix” of carnivorous plants, advertising a mix of seeds. No carnivorous plants from different genera should have their seeds mixed together, i.e. Sarracenia, Sundews and Nepenthes. They all have different requirements and no seller worthwhile would mix the seeds. The seller is simply lying.

No Multi color Lemon seeds, no rainbow lemons, no turquoise chilies. Here are some of the most obvious offenders with links for your viewing pleasure:

How coloring via liquid works: Rainbow Rose - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Waiting time for results: 5-7 years

Money lost: Between $1 and $7 per purchase.

This may not be a lot to some - It's the principal.
We do not know what type of seeds they are actually sending, could be wild roses, could be grass seeds or weed seeds - who knows.

Fake! Boob Melons – Nice 'Vietnamese Milk Gourd or Pumpkin'

I had to laugh! This was actually pretty funny!
Fake!!  China sells more fake vegetable seeds - and they are selling great!

The objects are not naturally growing gourds or pumpkins as claimed. In fact, they are the work of Vietnamese artist, Nguyen Thi Hoai Mo and are made from silicon and other materials. The artwork luffas graced a wall at the Goethe Cafe in Hanoi.
For more info! See the below link.

Fake! Sapodilla Solanum Pear Buddha

Year this one is special scam. Also known advertised as Chinese Baby Ginseng Fruit Perennial Seeds Pear Tree Seeds.

Sapodilla is actually a Sapote and not a pear, Solanum is in the tomato family and is also not a pear. So who knows what you are actually end up getting....could be dried pepper corns, or sand.

There is no such thing as Buddha Pear "seeds" like the fruit above.
These are actually created via a plastic mold.
For the Buddha result, the molds will have to be purchased separately and the likes are found here (we are not associated or affiliated with this website).
http://www.fruitmould.com/
However, we don't recommend wrapping your fruit in a plastic mold for several months...who knows where the plastic comes from or what it is made from.
It's probably also from China and probably contains lead and BPA.

Waiting time for results: 7-15 years
Money lost: Between $1 and $7 per purchase.

Fraud Seeds - China, India, Tailand, Indonesia is now moving in - Beware!

There are several so called "Malls" that are opening up shops in various market places (Eb@y, B0nanza, Amaz0n, Al!express, etc) - Sell you dead plants and it doesn't matter if it is actually are what you ordered because..well, they are dead.

The seeds offered however are the hammer - they appear to be buying the cheapest, expired seed varieties, including weeds, sand and coffee grounds  and then resell them overpriced as different varieties.
By the time you find out ..guess what! They are gone or you might say "Oh well it was cheap"!!  The money they make across the world is ridiculous!

I cannot empathize this enough! Check the feedback of any company you buy from!

Businesses need to have ethics. Buy local, unless you know exactly what you are getting.
Worst offender thus far (feel free to add below in the comment):

-Rancupid
-RancubidUK
-RancupidAU (etc)
These folks work out of india, tailand, indonesia etc "malls" and then set them-self up,

Of course most fall for it and hopefully.... after 6 weeks of waiting, you may get "something"
